When Gillian and David asked if we would shoot their wedding in Doonbeg this august, we were trilled as I was familiar with this stunning area. When we arrived down the day before to do a final reecce at all the locations, we knew that if we got the promised weather, we would be like kids in a candy store on the day. Well, we got the weather....... The wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful and quaint town of Miltown Malbay on the Clare coast, before moving on to the reception at the famous Doonbeg Golf Resort. Although originally from Ireland, both Gillian and David now reside in London and looking out over calm waters under a blue sky, it was easy to see why they chose to come home for their celebrations.
